The type of personal information we collect
Anchor People agrees that any information or data collected, will be treated in full confidence and will not be revealed to any other persons, companies or organisations and will be treated in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and any other statutory obligations in relation to the data processing.
Anchor People confirms that work carried out from their laptop/device will be kept securely with appropriate anti-virus software protecting the device and the device password.
We currently collect and process the following information:
· Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
· Filling out a contact us form
- Registering for one of our courses
We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you about our services or send a newsletter, or register you for a training session, send course joining information, feedback, follow up information and send certificates.
We may share this information with MHFA England if you have registered for a Mental Health First Aid Course, Refresher MHFA, MHFA Champion or Mental Health Aware Course, this is so they can manage your accreditation and send you course materials. Your data is then held by them and secured through their own privacy notice.
Anchor People do not hold your details after you have completed the course.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting emma.keeble@anchorpeople.co.uk
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
